Cut Bend Weld Go is a fabrication shop in New York State. This notice says what we collect when you use this site, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions go to go@cutbendweldgo.com.
What we collect
- Your account. Your name, company if you give one, email and phone. Your password is never stored, only a salted hash of it.
- Your files. The models and drawings you upload, and the drawings and prices the engine makes from them.
- Your orders. What you ordered, the material, finish and quantity, and the address we ship to.
- Payment. Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Security records. The network address a request comes from and a count of wrong passwords, so we can stop someone guessing their way into an account.
The site uses one cookie, to keep you signed in. There are no advertising trackers and no analytics cookies.
How we use it
- To price your part, draw it, make it and ship it.
- To reach you about your account and your orders.
- To keep the site and your account secure.
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use your files for anything other than your job.
Who else sees it
Only the people who help us make and deliver your part, and only what they need: a shipping carrier gets your ship-to address; a finishing or cutting partner gets the files for that one step; Stripe handles payment; our email and hosting providers carry the messages and pages. We will also share information if the law requires it.
Your designs stay yours
Your models and drawings belong to you. We keep them confidential and use them only to price and build your parts.
How long we keep it
We keep your account while it is open. Order records are kept as long as we need them for business, tax and quality records.
Your choices
Write to go@cutbendweldgo.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, or close your account and have your files deleted. Records tied to an order we are required to keep stay until we no longer need them.
Security
Pages are sent over an encrypted connection and passwords are stored only as salted hashes. No system is perfect, so use a password you do not use anywhere else.
Children
This site is for business customers and is not meant for children.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
